I don't believe it in the strict sense of the word, but I see it as a nice image. In real life eyes mean nothing to me really, I'm bad at eye contact and they're just part of nature, but when they're romanticised in say books or movies it makes sense that’s they could be windows.

I love all the pictures on this poll by the way, they're beautiful.

The great thing about the Eyes, is you can see that. You can see if someone is 'stone cold heartless'...I don't know why or how, you just can.

In my opinion I think so because sometimes when you look into someone’s eyes, I can see this spark. Although I wouldn't say ‘it's the window to their soul’, their eyes defiantly show something special.

Brown eyes are beautiful and mysterious. I have brown eyes, and in the right light I love them.

Many times it feels like you can look someone in the eyes and know precisely what they are thinking, its as though for a split moment you've communicated something so spiritual words simply are not apt to describe it.
