People in today's world are just selfish, and often don't realize (or care) that having to have their way is going to hurt the one they love.

    They don't if they are truley your boyfriend, or even if their are supposed to be your friend. If they hurt you, you do not have a freind, unless they hurt you feeling buy telling you something that will help you but you don't listen and take it as a critisim instead of criticical instead of truley trying to help.
