No military credentials are needed to end the war. If we continue, we will break this country economically. No country can sustain a war forever. For your information, we didn't win World War 2 by ourselves. There were plenty of allies who believed Hitler was evil and fought against him. 911 may have been like pearl harbor, but, why have you chosen to link it in the same breath with the war in Iraq (Like president Bush has done)? With no evidence of weapons of mass destruction, Hillary voted for the war! How dumb-ass was that?

Stop parroting the same tired lines that the Bush administration has been spewing please. If you would rather fight in Iraq than over here, then by all means, join the military and ask to be deployed as quickly as possible. Otherwise stop asking the military to stick its neck out so you can feel safe in your home. That to me sounds a little cowardly and a little selfish.

Iraq violated the cease fire, by all international law we had the right to go after them without asking a sole, yet the Bush administration received the blessings of Congress and twice from the U.N. Read the speeches Bush gave there were five of them before Iraq, that outlined the reasons for invasion. That you are ignorant of them is because you depend on people to tell you what to think and you are easily led. That is likely the result of your higher education, that lacked any wisdom. Forgive me for being so blunt but there were WMD's found, he did have interaction with Al Qeda. It was the left that morfed it into involvement with 9-11. And I think 1.5 metric tons of enriched uranium pellets is a WMD. That is just a few points, I could go on, but I do not think it would dent your intolerance to facts. -

I am a Viet Nam era vet and a US ARMY officer. Viet Nam was about money for rich industrialists, not communism or any other high and lofty goal. There was never any intent for the US to win the "conflict!" It is the same for Iraq. It's about money. Do you really think that any human could avoid capture if our considerable resources are brought to bear? If Bin Laden's family withdrew the trillions it commands from the US economy, it would collapse! Please!

Actually wars are supposed to be put to a vote, but by congress, not by the american people. The only problem this time is that the president declared war before the congress approved a war. . . I am for ending the war too, but we need to make sure Iraq is safe and stable before we just leave.

Change isn't necessarily a "positive" word in itself so why do people put so much emphasis on that word. Change for the sake of change is worst then no change at all, and most of the time turns out to be worst then what you already have. "Change" the rallying call of the Elitist and the young. -

He respects the flag and our country. We play silly political games. We want robots not presidents. Dress like you want them to dress, wear lapels, say it the way you want them to, etc. etc... I was at church this week-end and guess what many people had to be told to stand up and put their hands over their heart and it was predominantly a white church so it's something that people want to blow out or proportion.
