John McCain or Barack Obama?

If the General Election were held today, who would you vote for?
Would you vote for the Democratic candidate, see Barack Obama Biography, with the now famous Obama Fist Bump, or Jon McCain, with his let's Gas Tax Holiday for the summer.

    Answered None of the above

The only candidate that can do the right thing for this country is RON PAUL. Anyone else is just more of the same and America cannot afford more of the same. THIS IS IT PEOPLE.

Yeah , true. If he is so good, how come he wasn't even close to nomination?

    He could speak...?
  • raves +1   [-] by Mr. X
I have no idea. I see many Ron Paul supporters still believing... but for what.
  • raves +4   [-] by PigsOnSoma
And I'm all in favor of them continuing to do so. But it's true, if we had to have a repulican I would favor him above the rest - he certainly wouldn't make us look stupid.

    Mr. X

More importantly what did he do with all the money? He collected more then even McCain through his web site and didn't campaign. As they say where did all the money go Mr. Paul, please tell us.

Ron Paul is using the money to support candidates running on the Restore the Constitutional Republic platform. Visit his new web site: The Ron Paul Campaign for Liberty. The Ron Paul movement is just getting started. If you wonder why he did not do well in the polls ask yourself who is behind the media. Do some research. This election is counting on the ignorance of Americans to vote for the status quo agenda. Liberty demands that we get educated and do not rely on the media for information. It is important that we do not go with the status quo. In my opinion the lesser of the two evils is not a choice. Support the Constitution. Support Ron Paul.

I really believe that if Ron Paul had a personality he could impress the American people. Remember, we need to be impressed. Qualifications and experience don't matter any more.

    OH I SEE....

You're IMPRESSED with John McCain because "qualifications and experience don't matter."

    Makes sense now...

    Answered John McCain

Obamas association with terrorists, anti Americans both here and abroad and strong beliefs in Socialism and communism terrify me! He wrongly uses his intelligence and charisma to doublespeak his beliefs not for America but for Obama and his agenda. He has not offered any specific plans for "change", just rhetoric. I would love to see J.C. Watts or Condalezza Rice run for office and I would be a passionate supporter!
  • raves +1   [-] by Mr. X
Condi Rice for president? Are you serious!?
  • raves +2   [-] by Munchkin
    Lynn,

Your profile says you are 71. You're probally on Social Security which McCain wants to privitize and cut all cost of living increases when he takes office. You also have Medicare and the perscription drug programs that McCain wants to reduce by $196 Billion dollars. Are you prepared for those kind of reductions? Didn't you pay all your life to have these things ready for you at retirement.

Do you have a granddaughter? Do you know where McCain stands on womens rights? Are you aware he hasn't voted once in 25 years for a womens right issue?

I don't think you have done your homework, I think someone is whispering in your ear and you believe them.

Here is the Change obama speaks about...

    THE OBAMA MARCH TOWARDS SOCIALISM

Obama said, "Globalization and technology and automation will all weaken the position of workers." Hey, workers of the world, unite. "It will weaken the position of workers. He said a strong government hand is needed to assure that wealth is distributed more equitably." source: Glenn Beck / WSJ

    munchkin:
    I am on social security;
If I had put the same amount of money that I paid into social security for 47 years into a savings, it would amount to $ 875,000.
SSI on the other hand is going broke.
At the monthly rate it is paid back to me (of my money) by the government means I have to live to the age of 110 to get it all back.
Then, on top of that the government taxes me on my social security – how sick is that.

Medicare is a farce, you are forced to be on it, coverage sux, and Oh yes in case you did not know it, you have to pay for it. Even though you have been paying into it for your working career
No, when it comes to more government interference in my life, I don’t want it.
So far they have been able to screw up every program they have invented.
I have done my home work!
  • raves +1   [-] by PigsOnSoma
Answer honestly - would you have saved the $875,000 by yourself? The reason this was put in place is because so many people when they reached retirement didn't have a penny. This was because they couldn't save.
  • raves +2   [-] by nancee
WHAT?????????????????????????... did that come from. Now I know some of these people are just in here to piss me off
  • raves +2   [-] by Hope
nancee, what pissed you off? It looks to me like you're replying to the vote for John McCain.

    Answered Barack Obama

I have been a Republican for over 30 years and this year I switched to Democrat. I like to believe that I have grown and become more objective, pushing aside all prejudice and judgement I may hinder. I don't believe that one should vote for a woman because they are a woman, or vote for an African American because they too are African American or vote for a Caucasian because one is Caucasian. For once, I am truly looking out for the good of our country, my children and my grandchildren and praying to God that there is hope for all of us. For that reason, I am voting for Barrack Obama. I am Caucasian and I am a female so this has nothing to do with who I am, it has to do with what I believe. At this time, he has not given me any reason to believe that he is a deceiver or money hungry person. I see the picture that is shown with the clothing that makes him look different, but I don't care what he looks like, it's about what he can offer and help do to make this country better. I truly believe that he will help us build our country back up but that we all have to take part in it. I think some people are waiting for everything to be done for them, but we have to be realistic and understand that we all have a responsibility to ourselves, our family and our community and that we have to do everything in our power with what we are given, to make things better. I already have seen the likes of Hillary Clinton and John McCain and I am sorry, but I don't want what they have to offer. I'...
