Actually I do! Good for the local SoCal Aerospace Mfg. Community! They will build and Launch a replacement! Hopefully a better one! I thinkwe need to keep lot's a "Eyes in the Sky" to keep on the lookout for those Fuzzy Lil Foreigners! -

It will prob. burn up in the atmosphear anyway....I hope...and if it doesn't....find a school desk...the goverment said it would protect you from a Nuke...so it should function against shrapnel...lol...(please do not be retarded and coment on the school desk thing negitively...I know it doesn't work, and I know the gov. doesn't say that anymore...think sense of hummor) -
raves +1 Jan 27, 2008 05:37AM GMT (edited)Yep, your right. It will probobly burn up in the atmosphere. This particular spy satellite weights only 9.07184 tons. As opposed to the late "SKYLAB" observatory which weighed 78 tons. And landed harmlessly mainly in the Indian ocean. But skylab was brought down somewhat controlled. Where this satellite has lost all power. It will be an interesting story to keep an eye on. As they say in the construction bussiness. (HEADS UP).

Well, my first thought was I hope it was'nt in use for operational purposes at the time of its malfunction. My second thought was I hope it doesnt fall into the hands of those who could use its technology against us. When I should have been in the mindset that I hope it doesnt fall on anybody.
