Are pit bulls agressive because of their nature or because of the way they are raised?

they are agressive because of the owner
it depends on the dogs history
these dogs are just very protective and the y are only doing what they think they need to do to protect their owners these dos arent agressive at all

I have some friends that have pits that say it is by nature no matter how they are raised. That they can be unpredictable. I think they are beautiful.

i'm not a fan of the pit but just like with any other dog if they ain't trained and raised right then of course they are gonna bite.If they was really terrible dogs they wouldn't have shelters just for pits.they have gotten a bad rap cuz of people like Mr.Vick.

I have seen a few of these dog that were great till they got older.

One even turned on the owner.

A lot of it has to do with the owner and how the dog is treated. I had a pit she was never agressive and never bit anyone she was a real loveable dog. The only thing was she did not get along with other dogs or cats.
