OK... so I'm a little late on this one, but thank God it's finally under way. Martinsville this weekend. Jeff's on the pole and Jr's 22nd. Maybe Jeff will let Jr. win one of those awesome clocks. If you couldn't tell, I'm a Jr. fan.

And basketball.....up and down, up and down up and down the court. Football....back and forth, back and forth up and down the field. Baseball.....round and round round and round the diamond. There is more to it than that. BTW, I love all the above mentioned sports. I'm not trying to change your mind, it isn't for everyone, but it is more than just driving in circles.

I'm ready for some NASCAR! It is something I enjoy. I enjoy it from the beginning to end. The wrecks are my favorite. Cheering for my favorite driver and drinking some beer if I want on race Sunday. Plus like Lebee said it brings us comfort after losing a loved one you shared NASCAR with.

I look forward to nascar. when my husband was alive we would watch it together, he taught me all about it. Sadly 6 months after we got married he can down with cancer so during treatment and down times we would watch racing. in some strange way it brings me comfort to watch nascar

I'm so sorry to hear about your husband. My Father passed away last year and we were the same way. We always talked on race day before the race, in the middle and at the end discussion the winner and what all happened. Like you it comforts me too. :o)

Not a sport.... a skill, an activity, a chance for rednecks to get drunk... but NOT a sport.

They are athletes you can't have 300 lb. bubba climbing in that window to race for 500 laps in over 100 degree heat. I would say it's not as easy as most people think it is to do. I'll agree with some rednecks getting drunk...I've been to a race and was not impressed with some of the crowd around me...lol. But, I guess everyone has a little redneck in them...lol.
