We have visitors from all over the earth. They respond to the way they are treated as humans. Many get their experience with USA culture as college students. Sometimes it's not so pleasant and they take this impression home to wherever they came. Unfortunately these impression are totally wrong, but some U.S. citizen may have communicated the wrong message to these young impressionable people. -

Yeah, I do...And it irks me that they preach hatred of us in their mosques, which we were nice enough to build for them right here in a country they despise...And not enough rational Muslims are willing to speak out against the radical, terrorist ones, or discipline their kids for anti-American acts.
I hate to sound rude (or maybe I don't care), but if you are here in a country
you despise, taking advantage of its opportunities, then shut up about 'The Great Satan,' okay? Or better yet, take your fundamentalist BS and go home. -

Yes. They have to. They need to be here to understand what it truly important to us, and to know what and when would be the best time to stike, in order to be most effective.
As a side note, the men who planned the first attack of the World Trade Center...back in 93, lived across the street from my brother's girlfriend. -
Answered Undecided
First of all, I can't live my life worrying about what might happen. Be that as it may, I tend to be more concerned about threats of violence "in my own backyard". As a result, I take precautions wherever I go, to the mall, movies, crossing the street, etc. -
Honestly, if the government had demanded everyone to stay home and not go to work at the WTC or enter NYC on Sept 10th because we were going to be attacked by Terrorists....the liberal media would have accused the Bush Administration of over reacting, being paranoid and trying to take away the public's civil rights.

We've seen this numerous times in the past decade. This includes the planned attack on Fort Dix, the planned attack on JFK Airport, the World Trade Center bombing in 1993, September 11th, and several other incidents. We have a very free society, which makes it easy to attack from within -- whether by force or by words.Unfortunately, this puts our government in the position to protect us by taking away some of our liberties.
