Government Spending $60 Million to Shoot Down Satellite: Is it worth it?
There is an errant satellite now circling the earth that James Jeffrey, deputy national security adviser, exclaims has only a remote possibility of falling to earth, surviving re-entry, and spewing toxic gas into a populated area.

Despite this "remote" possibility, the government is preparing to spend $60 million dollars to shoot it down; Is this a wise decision?

The government is not worried about killing people, their worried about their information getting into the wrong hands.
