Will Earth survive Sun's death?
According to this article I read, our beloved Sun will die in a few billion years from today. The Sun will become red and it will grow 250 times its size. The Sun’s loss of mass will loosen its gravitational pull on Earth, which will allow the planet to migrate to a wider orbit about 7.6 billion years from now. Scientist say that there might be a slight chance that when this occurs, Earth might still survive...... Peter Griffin ladies and gentlemen.

Answered No. There are many possibilities that Earth wont make it.
No, end of story - the Earth will simply fry and then freeze. But I really don't think we have to worry too much about it - by the time it happens, I suspect we'll either be long gone (either extinct or moved off the planet because we've used up all its resources), or we'll have evolved to the point where we can avoid it (either by leaving or going underground, or who knows, maybe "phasing out" or some such). -
