Answered The "Ex" Fight: Was SHE Better than Me?

I also think the "silent treatment fight" is horrible AND unfair - you can't work on the other person's perception of what's wrong if you don't have a clue what they're upset about. Also, the "ex" is a bad one to have brought up, periodically, by your significant other. It can be demeaning and insulting. Each person deserves to be your "one and only".

    Answered My other answer is...

I fear having to fight an omnipotent, totalitarian government for my rights and the rights of my children.

    - the right not to pay for unconstitutional foreign and domestic programs that the federal government clearly does not have the power for which to tax me.

    - the right to privacy which has been gut-shot by the Patriot Act

    - the right to decide which vaccines go into my children

    - the right to educate my children without the interference of some know-it-all federal bureaucrat

    - the right to pass on the fruits of my labor to my children when I die without the death tax taking almost half of it

    - the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness that is eroded by a foreign policy that makes most of the world our enemies

    - the right for my children not to have to fight and die for unconstitutional invasions of other countries for the sake of corporate and foreign interests
While I fear fighting this monster we call our federal government which has the power and reckless abandon to crush me like a paper cup, succumbing to such fear is not an option.

PS: I fear fighting my wife, as well - she always wins! ;-)

Cheat....fight....make-up....the talk.....the vicious circle that happened way too many times with my ex-husband (i'm talking 3 years of that crap) until I was strong enough to finally toss his crap out onto the front lawn after the "finale" all nighter!

I've been there...Especially recently....And the way I see it, it's none of his business who I've been with or without in the past 7 years.

well, I'm not a man. some of you guys seem to enjoy fighting from what I've seen... me, I don't care much for fighting except if necessary for self-preservation! and then I fight to win. So it's never any fun.

    Answered My other answer is...

Luckily, I haven't faced any of the above fights with my wife......although I was involved in the "ex" thing with a former girlfriend....the ironic part of that situation was that the girl my "ex" was jealous of was never in the picture....she was jealous for no reason.......

It's come up in two relationships unfortunately. It's cuz I'm still friends with both of them I guess. I don't really know why it has come up, but hey, that's the way it goes...

He He, that cat looks perplexed.
