Did Prince Harry make the right decision to fight in Afghanistan?
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html..."Prince Harry has fulfilled his dream of serving his country, fighting the Taliban on the front line in Afghanistan, the Ministry of Defence confirmed today.
The 23-year-old Household Cavalry officer has spent the past 10 weeks secretly serving in war-ravaged Helmand Province and was there over Christmas. He dropped his first bombs on New Year's Eve.
The Prince dismissed fears that he will be a "bullet magnet", swore he does not miss "anything", said he believed his mother was proud of him - and made no reference to girlfriend Chelsy Davy.
Despite being third in line to the throne, the prince was allowed to operate within sight of enemy positions, calling in air strikes and carrying out aerial surveillance of Taliban trenches and bunker systems."

Bill Clinton got a pass because he was in college, and then went to Russia. If you are judging a man's worth by military service then John McCain should win easlily. I also get ticked at people who never serve, putting down people who do. My Father and Father in law both did 2 1/2 years in WWII. My brother, and brother in law, along with other members of my family served during Viet Nam. My cousin's sons were in Iraq. So until you have served or have had someone serve, don't complain. Freedom in this country isn't free. It has to be fought for every day. This is the one of only a few countries where you can talk about your leaders with such dis-respect, and not be killed or jailed.

I also had a cousin who was a Dr that served in Viet Nam. You are right....many people have made sacrifices and I am thankful for each and every one of them.

He's expendable for now. He did not go there for glory, honor, and country. He went because he is bored of being the other/younger prince.

I am very impressed with Harry. He could have played at being a soldier like Bush, instead, he acted like on of the guys and did a great job. Matt Drudge should be ashamed of himself for bringing it out. Harry could have been killed because of Drudge's lack of care. -
