As a result of her beliefs, Hillary Clinton proposed a plan to congress which creates a Strategic Energy Fund. The fund will put $50 billion into research, development, and deployment of renewable energy, energy efficiency, clean coal technology, ethanol and other homegrown biofuels, and more. She believes the funds can be accumulated without raising taxes. The funds will be raised by giving oil companies the choice between paying into the fund itself, or investing in renewable energy themselves. Oil companies would also lose all their tax breaks and pay their appropriate taxes.

The best chance is now because the cost of energy has been so low that there hasn't been a reason to find any new sources. We have to force them to Drill. We have to force them to go nuclear. Its a start and no one else is even thinking about health insurance. I thought the plan they came up with when Bill was President was a good start. So many mimic what the Republicans said without thinking about it. Other who don't have insurance problems don't care. We need to start someplace. These doctors charging 50 thousand for an operation that is necessary to continue living should be a crime. I've heard all the stories about malpractice but the government could and should step in and make certain rules about that. If people don't have enough sense to check their doctors before allowing them to put the knife to them, then they will learn a hard lesson. -

This would affect my family directly as they are in domestic oil in many different capacities. So NO. Not too mention, that I don't feel Oil companies should have to bear the brunt of all of the countries environmental woes. And basically, I don't like politicians in general, but I hardly ever agree with anything a dempcrat proposes. I think another way can be found. this is something that would end up costing all Americans a lot of money just to get to work everyday. Gas prices are already high. -

Affordable solar energy and wind...products us middle class can afford without losing money when we buy them.
REAL tax breaks for green houses(all products that go into them)..and again for because it is cool..but because we have a realy big problem looming up on us in the future.
Oh well she will auction off the Lincoln bedroom again and raise the money that way.
Don't y'all boo me..seems everyone has forgotten about that, the computers being damaged when they left and all the items they took saying they were gifts to them..when in fact they were gifts to the White House..thus in fact...really OUR gifts.

I did get a laugh at the old " damaged computers story".
If I remembered correctly one of the White house staffers claimed that Clinton's people glued a key down. The fact was that the Bush people didn't know what the Num Lock Key was.
They may all be sharp Lawyers but that doesn't mean any of them knew poop about typing and PCs. -

Hillary would say anything, propose anything, do anything that she thinks it would take to convince enough people to elect her as president. She will promise anything to anybody to achieve whatever it is that enough people want to vote for her.

Hillary is promising National Health Care too but we already have national health care...its called Medicaid. Check out Charity hospital in NO and see if you want your family to go there when they are sick.Her phony promise to let the government fix the environmental problems are just as dangerous. And our rewards for this mess will be huge tax hikes to pay for them. -
