Generally, if one is “wise” they will be, in turn, “good.” Hedonistic pleasures are often referred to as “evil” because of their tenancy to later cause discomfort or regret after the initial “pleasure.” A person who is wise most likely knows that “bad” things generally cause pain, no matter how much pleasure is initially derived from them, and will therefore do acts of “good.” I do consider “good” and “evil” to be subjective of course, so this pattern is not universal.. just the general case..
