I think he's ahead because people lie to the polls. He was ahead in CA. by 10% and lost by 13%. That's 23% points. It's called the Bradlet effect and it's real. You can say anything, but when it comes time to vote you do what you want. Don't believe the polls this year if Obama is in the race. I think the polls should be never told to anyone. It turns people because many want to pick the winner. No matter who it is. I never trust them. People lie to the polls all the time. When they call me I tell them 100% the other thing of what I 'm thinking.

I see him as half Euro-American. Al Sharpton is -A-A, or MLK Jr., or Malcolm X, we are dealing with a mixed individual. I decided to vote for Ralph Nader, I always liked him anyway! : )

However, by 6-10-08, I ended up flip flopping, now I am for Senator Obama, and it does not bother me if Hillary Joins the team as VP, think it is a good thing ; )

ended flip flopping senator obama bother hillary joins team vp

Indeed! Because if he was white, we wouldn't know much more about him than we do John Edwards.

Every single black person seems to be in this election with record turn outs. I believe the black vote is helping but not making him win because they are so out numbered.

To an extent yes, black people want a black President for once. I can understand that, but I will never believe he is the right one. He also gets lots of kids who are voting for the first time and fall for the pretty speeches he reads so well. They might end up learning the hard way that pretty speeches won't actually solve anything.

I believe it's misinformed people that are voting for him and a lot of young voters that have no clue what it's all about. The media is shoving him down everyones throats. The weakminded just go along with the flow. It's not about race although they are trying to make it be. Obama really wants to divide and conquer. The type of change he means is not the type of change we want.

How do you explain why the democrats are turning out in record for Barack from mostly white state The Great NW, North Central, New England ect He has actually received more white vote Hillary.

He went into this race guaranteed a certain number of votes by virtue of being black. This is the same thing as blacks getting extra points on government job examinations before the exam even starts.

hasn't worked for any other black guy like Jesse Jackson, Rev Al Sharpton and so forth...why should it work for Obama. I also find it interesting when folks use his middle name when addressing him...tilted message perhaps?

Nobody seems to have a problem saying Hillary Rodham Clinton, why should Barack Hussein Obama be any different? Is he ashamed of it or something? Personally I could care less about his name, I am against him for many other reasons tho.

Republicans have been using the full Hillary Rodham Clinton like a curse for years. It's implied feminism used to make her appear like a dangerous liberal. Obviously the Republicans are doing the same to Obama. It's an implied anti-Islamic poke making him look like a terrorist. It's obviously meant provoke people's zenophobia.

He's ahead because alot of the Republicans have been going to the polls and voting for him because they think if he's the Democratic nominee that McCain can beat him. Then they will go back and vote Republican in the presidential race.

Absolutely not. He has attracted record numbers of voters across many demographics. His victories in Maine and Iowa show his ability to garner approval, attention, and support in significantly non-white bastions.☼
