Sorry, Lou - I know you don't care for him. I do and what I've heard and read about the Rev. Wright and his church hasn't scared me off. But, should Hillary win the nomination, I'll be working for her, rooting for her, voting for her.

My mind has not changed - I voted for Hillary because I thought she had more experience (both in time and variety) and was better qualified to be president and I still do.

What has changed somewhat is my opinion of Obama. I once thought that he would make a great president someday after a few more years of experience. As the election has progressed, I began to see more and more behavior from Obama that I can only describe as 'poor winner'. This bothered me greatly. Then as the Rezko situation came to light, my questions about Obama increased. As more and more discoveries of business & and personal financial dealings between Rezko and Obama were disclosed, it reinforced my growing concerns about Obama's honest.

Now in light of the Rev. Wright situation, I have serious trust issues that the Obama campaign is either unwilling or unable to address. I am bothered by the fact that he attended church and listened to Rev. Wright preach for nearly 20 years, yet claims he never hear any of this 'hate speak' until now. I want a better answer from him than what he has given so far. What he actually said was that he hadn't heard the speech personally. Notice he never said he hadn't heard ABOUT the speech. When I miss church, my friend's usually fill me in on what the sermon was about. This was not ONE speech by Rev.Wright; this is not a NEW belief of his. This is a theme he has repeated many times over many years. I do not accept Obama's statement that he never heard any of thi...

This is a theme he has repeated many times over many years. I do not accept Obama's statement that he never heard any of this racist speech until recently. I do not believe that he didn't know these sermons were going on in his church. Since even I had heard some rumors of this, I believe he must have know something. The fact that he never denounced them until it became a political hot potato REALLY bothers me!

These doubts are compounded by the statements by the Obama camp that this is "no big deal", or "just a little mistake", or even just "smear-tactics in the silly season of politics".

I don't appreciate my concerns being dismissed in this condescending manner, and I am beginning to see Obama more and more as exactly what he claims NOT to be: a politician who will bend the truth and say whatever fits his needs at the time.
