Am I alone in thinking old cemeteries are romantic?

Yes, yes, we allllll know that I am weird and morbid. But there is just something about a truly old cemetery that I find beautiful. Maybe it's the quiet and solitude, I don't know. Anyone else feel this way?

And so help my God, if I have ONE person on here telling me that because I am writing this question, I must be some crazy devil worshiper, I will go off. Thank you, and have a beautiful day. LOL.

    idk i really dont do the whole romantic thing i mean i have my moments but theres very few people ive ever gone out of my way for but i could see how the silence would be nice

    I dont think they are romantic, but I have always appreciated old cemeteries. They are beautiful esspecially the ones with old tomb stones and rot iron fences. Lots of history too.

    I was actually looking at a house with my old roomate that was right next to a cemetery... It wouldve been beautiful

    I think some are romantic because the architecture and solitude can be quite beautiful. Like in NY we have Greenwood. Absolutely stunning place, filled with so much history and sights. It can be romantic. =]

    nah back home in "Ny there was this cemetery that my husband and I used to go to there was this pond by a old willow tree, with "Rememberance" benches surrounding the pond,. when i was preggo with my daughter we used to go down to that area and my nausea and preggo sickness would insta disappear!

    This means that if you or a loved one has experienced a death in the family...sure you are to think that but if you have heard something about an obituary then you probably aren't sophisticated to think this matter.
