There are so many different types of media and product reviews. Some are really long and very analytical, some are very short and say practically nothing, other are in between with a little background and a bottom line opinion. With everyone so busy, long reviews seem a bit too tedious. What about you - which do you find more suitable to your needs?

Answered A review with a synopsis of what is being reviewed with a brief reason about why the reviewer things it is or is not good
For movies and DVD's, a rating system at the start (checks or thumbs up type) then a brief reason for the rating. I usually decide without them anyway. For music, I'd like a little more detail on why it was liked or disliked. A link or 30 second cut of the song for the music is even better. I spend a lot more time and money on music.

Answered None of the above
I generally don't like reading reviews at all until after seeing a film or listening to an album. It's best for me to go into something as fresh as I can, I don't like people telling me how I should feel about art until I've had a chance to take it in myself. Then sometimes I'll read reviews to see if others agree with my feeling.
