What should scare the enviro-whackos is this: If Calgary's energy consumption went up 2.1% during Earth Hour, it can only mean one thing....IT DIDN'T WORK!

Well, I did participate in a way by making it a point to turn all my lights ON.

When I called Al to get some guidance, he told me it would cost me 6 carbon credits for his advice! I only have 5, so I declined!.....These carbon credits are burning a hole in my pocket however!!!

I already use CF bulbs all over my house and we have the lights off in our house pretty much all day long until it gets dark. I conserver where I can and do not need some world wide awareness stunt to do this. I conserve because it makes sense to me and not to be a part of the global warming landslide.

Hey, I can totally respect conserving to improve your own personal economy. It's the trying to force everybody to do it under the delusion that you're saving the planet that torques me.
