Are you a Nomophobe?

'Nomophobia is the fear of being out of mobile phone contact'

"Getting married, starting a job or going to the dentist have long been recognised as sources of great stress.

But it seems they are now matched by a new, peculiarly 21st century affliction - the fear of being out of mobile phone contact.

Millions apparently suffer from "no mobile phobia" which has been given the name nomophobia.

They have become so dependent on their mobile that discovering it is out of charge or simply misplacing it sends stress levels soaring."

My two cordless phones on my landline are mobile, and I lose them often. It doesn't stress me though. I use a special button on the base of my phone to call them. And if I'm not home, please leave a message. I know I can always get a hold of your sorry cell.

I don't freak if I don't have it on me. I loose it all the time and I rarely answer the calls I get, but it is nice to have in case the car breaks down or something else happens.

Usually when I forget my phone my first reaction is light panic but next I just shake it off and take it as a day off, a relief...
