its one of those short budget films that wont be released into theaters...i was so excited when i heard they were making a LoZ movie but was disappointed when this is what i saw...still a lot of low cut budget movies are really good so it still may be worth watching although Link looks nothing like what i imagined...considering he is blonde in the game

I think it's real. They wouldn't just watse that much money to make the trailer and call it an April Fool's joke. It looks professional too. Hey it can happen. I heard that a Gears of War, Kameo, and a maybe on a Halo movie.

IGN did a wonderful job on this. It took them months. They should be congratulated on all aspects. As for the wonderful CGI that had so many people convinced- uh, guys, this is what they actually do.
Also, if this was a real trailer and that much of the cgi was finished it would be well into post and there would be a summer/Christmas release. Not to mention an IMDB entry.

Sorry - but I bet that it could be used as a treatment to flog it to the studio types so don't give up all hope.

Two reasons I believe it is real....

It is a year off, and the production line is in order....

The quality of the trailer seems too good to not be a real movie...

My though is that there is a lot of CGI to fill in....

If that had been real to be released in the movie theatres, it would have the same Sci Fi special look just like Dragonwars. That movie definitely needed only to be shown on Sci Fi.

I'd say it's real, because it looks like a pretty high quality production. However, it seems like a title this big would be less quiet. I'd wait to see if it is real for sure by waiting like a week, and see where it goes. I'm not going to lie, I play video games most of my spare time, and I would go see it, also, it looks like a movie on Ocarina of Time, which happened to have the best storyline of the series

I saw that last night. It is probably a joke, because it looks horrible. Then again, there is the possibility of it being real, and them making it better than what's shown. I hope it's real, and that they make some changes. Did you see Ganondorf's beard and stuff? Looks totally fake. They also need to pick someone else for Link's role, the guy they have now doesn't look very good.
