Skateboarding
I remember my old skateboarding days and it always seemed to me that cops hate skaters. Watch the video. The mother of this 14-year-old was furious and this Baltimore cop lost his job.

I don't think skateboarding is a crime, although some people seem to think it is. Obviously, if there is a "No Skateboarding" sign posted, you shouldn't do it, but I don't think that cop needed to get that ugly with that kid. Unless those boys had been previously warned that they shouldn't board in that area, or there was a sign posted, the cop should have simply told them to leave. In any case, I see no reason for the cop to put his arm around that kid's neck and force him to the ground. That was definitely over-reacting. -

Why does everyone think that skateboarding is a crime. Hell I would rather my kids skateboard than do drugs. Well if they are going to outlaw skateboarding why dont they outlaw skating and biking. Shit if they are not causeing any problelm please leave them alone. Would you rather see them selling drugs? Would you rather see them killing each other? They are better off skateboarding, They are better off skateboarding than in a gang. -

lol.if skateboarding was a real crime this country would show effort into putting an end to skateboard sales....lots of people will tell skateboarding has kept them away from drugs.yeah yeah yeah according to some stereotypes skateboarders are pots heads but i believe those people use skateboarding as a stoner activity...not that it has led them to drugs....well thats a whole other story i wont even get deep into that right now lol -

That cop was way out of line. I could see him breathing hard and he was angry for no reason. He could really get a heart attack with that kind of an additude. I loved his little go cart. Also a dude is not someone who lives on a ranch. It is a person who does not know ranch living and pays a lot of money to visit a resort ranch. -

No, not at all. It's a good hobby, good exercise, and it's better than having your child doing drugs or something that they could be doing when they would normally be skateboarding. It doesn't hurt anything and I think it's ridiculous that cops tell skaters to move all the time. What are they hurting po-po's? -

It is not a crime its just a hobby for sum kids and teenagers that love to skateboard. I think this video was hilarious but taken out of hand a bit though. But kids should be careful of where they skate because it is dangerous. -

Thats insane! That is overreacting right there! And I watched the video where the kid got chocked and its like the cops talking about battery after he chocked the kid. Then he put the girl in a headlock! I mean I understand they were skating where they shouldnt have been but that was to much. These are kids! I mean im 15 and I know I would be scared in that situation. I know around my town there are certain spots we cant skate, but they tell us not attack us. I think a lot of cops just think skaters are punks and so they have an automatic distaste for us. But thats just me -

Its not supposed to be a crime... I guess if you do it in a place your not supposed to it is
