Every single business out there has the lowest price. How is that possible? The price of everything ends with 99. As if we don't realize that a car costing $39,999 is a $40,000 car. Each and every business is the very best at what they do. BS. Everyone should be way more honest, don't ya think?

I really really really dislike salespeople... when my husband and I first got married we fell for the "come to a seminar and just 'listen' and you'll get a..." (I forget what now) Yes, we did that... lol And this lady ended up telling me that she felt sorry for me (because I didn't want to commit to monthly payments for anything she had to sell) she was like "wow, I feel sorry for your family if you don't like to commit to things..." LOLOL WoW we left, but I still can't believe we even went!! LOL we were like - 24 and 21... old enough to know better you would think.
And one time a few years later some guys came to try and sell me a carpet cleaning system and wouldn't leave my house!! I had to go wake up my husband to make them leave 'cause they wouldn't go!! If that would've happened today there's no telling what I'd do... lol I don't put up with anything anymore.
Oh oh oh I have another example, which just happened last summer. I have a 'no soliciting' sign on my front door and some guy comes to try and sell something and I was on the phone, but I answered the door and politely said "there's a sign right there, didn't you see it?" and he proceeded to explain to me how he wasn't really 'selling' anything.... blah blah - I said "yes you are.. goodbye" and he said "I'll be back!" and I said "no you won't!" I was in shock that he was talking to me like that when he wanted my business and he was going around the corner and I heard him say "yes I will!" LMAO Do I have sucke...I really really really dislike salespeople... when my husband and I first got married we fell for the "come to a seminar and just 'listen' and you'll get a..." We really need to be more informed . I always shop around for the best deal I can get. I hate it when people buy a car based on the payment. That means the car will be in dire need of a junkyard by the time it is paid for. Work on getting the sticker price the lowest you possibly can and never finance for more than 3 years. Go for 2 if possible. -

Yuppers... they believe it because, for the most part, the majority of the sheep are -well- sheep.
I walked into the local WalMart last month (late night) and happened upon a manager and assitant manager walking the isles talking about how they could make things appear to be cheaper while actually raising the prices... hillarious, especially when they realized I was there and listening... -

It's a common retail practice to end prices in 99, 95, or (in Walmart's case) 88, so that the buyer believes (by seeing the lower dollar amount) they are getting a better deal. Surprisingly, it often works, even if they are only a penny or two away from a whole 'nother dollar. -
I recently heard or read, don't remember, that if you're selling your house you should end with 00's because "consumers think they're getting a good deal subliminally that way" or something like that- sorry I don't remember the specifics - have you heard anything about that?

They think we all are guests on the Jerry Springer show.Have to laugh when a candy bar company puts out a smaller sized product and tells us it's now suddenly low fat/ low calorie and have the nerve to charge more for it.
Weight loss commercials are an absolute riot. They show some twenty something woman thats a mess, hair all over, no makeup, sweat shirt and pants two days after having twins and then again later 20 lbs lighter all dolled up for the cameras and in a swim suit. They don't bother to tell you she is a Olympic swimmer or a professional model capable of losing 20 lbs by vomiting.
Last by not least Viagra doesn't make your wife look any more attractive than she was the day before you took it. LOL
Scams, cons and liars one and all. The not funny thing here is that these things were once illegal and the government came down hard on product claims. Some that have already been proven to be fraudualent have yet to have their ads pulled.
