Do you fly kites?

I went to a National Kite Month (I thought that was March, but apparently it's April) celebration last weekend and had so much fun watching that I didn't even get my kite out of its little case! I was amazed at both the number of kites and the variety of kites -- kites with tails, kites with no tails, box kites, parachute kites... -- not to mention the skill of the kite-flyers! So, do you fly kites?

Well, for my studio's dance recital we're doing Mary Poppins...
And I get to be Mr. Banks...
And we get to fly fake kites during 'Let's Go Fly A Kite'...

we do call him joo too...we just kid...my boss has a jew stick that he always threatens to hit him with...but we all laugh and have a good time and he doesnt mind it too much...he calls me a fuckin viking all the time...

I did as a kid, used to use my dads fishing pole with hundreds of feet of line on it, could get the kite up so high you could barely see it.

I think I had a little cheap kite when I was a kid, but it kept getting caught in the telephone wires...
