As far as when you meet your love, absolutely not.

As far as difference in years, as long as you're both adults no I don't think that matters either.

some people may think is does matter wen theres a big gap between ages, but as long as both people love each other and are willing to deal with all the crap they'll get from people, and they really should be able to, then it doesnt really matter

Age causes a lot of problems
but if both people can handle and adapt
    and work hard
    then anything is possible

age is just a number you can find your true love at any age, but if say you were in your 30's and then you marry someone whom is 16 that is different. it's different if it isn't legal it's better ot at least be in the same age range.

Although I must stipulate - within reason. For most intents and purposes, I stand behind the belief that age is just a number, but there are those instances where yes I think age should be a negative factor. For example, there is another poll on here about a 38 year old teacher (coach actually) marrying one of his 16 year old students whom he's been involved with since she was 14. This would be an instance where I think it's just plain wrong. Now - say that same scenario were aged on both sides - so that she were at least LEGAL - then I wouldn't feel the same way. So I guess my vote is mostly no but a small helping of yes on the side lol.

but it does depend on how you click with the person is it a true relationship or just lust?

For me I look for a man 11 years older or more. The government approves of a type of legal unionship that there is tax break, possibly can get benefits under the union, and it's harder to get changed than a "normal marriage" between heterosexuals! I am just waiting for the right one to fall on my lap!

My husband is 9 years older...and though I do love him..now that we are both older it is showing...though I am immature so that could be the problem!!!

I think like anything you have to really think about..the relationship...

not 10 days from now..but a bit in the future..what you want to do and be say in 10 years...

i know unromantic but I wish I had examined myself a bit more...if only for my husbands sake!

    great poll!
