Do poor people win the lottery more often than anyone else?
After much studying of lottery players, there are usually two golden rules: "Play only if you can afford it", and "play only for fun." If you're playing because you think you're gonna get rich, then don't play." These are the phrases of a research director for the Minnesota State Lottery. This is true, but what are the odds that poor people usually get to win the big money?Does anyone ever wonder why it's usually the non-wealthy people who tend to win the lottery? It just can't be a coincidence that all the "ditch-diggers" and "hotel maids" win all the huge jackpots.

Answered I think it's only luck, being rich or poor.
But rich people don't play because they don't need "luck."
Poor people play out of desperation. I should know! *grin*
The odds are the same every week for every player. They will not go up if you play the same numbers every time, or rub a lucky rabbits foot, or anything else. -

Answered No, but they really need to.
Poor people are immediately returned to poor when winning the lottery in most cases because the person if they were receiving any governement assistance up until the moment they receive that winnings will owe the federal and/or state governement for supporting them...so when the person wins the money is given to the state or the feds thus leaving a net sum of "poor" for the person to enjoy! -

I've found that it's always old people who are about to croak, and couldn't possibly spend 180million before they die that win.
