My Chemical Romance VS The Jonas Brothers: Who do you like best?

To NOT vote for MCR would be a sin. The Jonas Brothers, I grudgingly admit, have talent for music [-winces-]. Unfortunately, they have the composition skills of a deaf hobo on crack. [No offence to all you deaf hobos out there. I love hobos. Really, I do.] Their music is shallow to me, and their songs just don't stand out. If you were to play their songs without the vocals, you wouldn't be able to distinguish them from any other poppy happycrap band out there. My Chemical Romance on the other hand, have meaning, depth and purpose to their music. Their first album was raw and aggressive, pure emotion. They knew what it was like to live life on the edge, to live on the darker side of town and they put that forward in their songs. Their second album would most likely blow you away. You can see the transition the boys made from Bullets. They matured and evolved, to produce something breath-taking. Revenge provides an outlet for any kind of emotion in any situation, and is well worth a listen. Finally, The Black Parade. This is the album many of the "underground" MCR fans hate. They say it made the band "sell outs" and brought in a "distasteful" fanbase. But if you look at the lyrics, if you listen to the songs, you just know it wasn't about fame or money. They wanted to inspire, to reach out and touch some hearts. They faced their fears and fought away the obstacles the life kept throwing to them, made it out, not perfect, but alive, and that meant so much to them. And they created such a beautiful album, to inspire more to accomplish what they had. They wanted everyone to know that they were never alone, and that they could pull through, no matter how hard life got. In this way, MCR have reached out and touched so many people, and this alone makes them the better band. They are truly magnificent, and I wouldn't have them any other way.
