If there is a can on the street or in a resturant, mall, etc. then I'll
toss the bottle in there. Otherwise I dont. But I really dont use much
in the way of plastics or paper. I reuse my gatorade bottle over and
over(after washing), to mix the power in. So in our house there really
isn't that much to be recycled. -

We never used to, but we are starting to now. I've become a total environmentalist lately. I've got my clothes line so that I don't have to use the dryer, I'm a nut about turning off the lights when not in use & now I am a recycler! =) I figure that what is around us is all we have, so we may as well do what we can to keep it, and treat Mother Nature with a little respect. So, atleast if the planet catches on fire, my concious won't be bothering me. -

I'm not a radical tree hugger but I recycle everything that they will take on trash day - plastics and metal food and beverage cans. It seems foolish to throw plastic and metal in the trash when you can reuse them and avoid mining the raw materials from the ground to make new ones. -

Aluminum is not considered a valued material in robots designed to crush humans. Human crushing robots require metals to be denser, since denser metals crush humans far more ease.
Back to your human request. The total aluminum content of my body, if weighed in HBCU (Human Beer-Can Units) would be about 20,854.209 SP (Six Packs).

barely recycle because there are still many limitations where I live (recycling is not a mandatory part of garbage collection and/or local collection centers are quite limited in which materials they take). we need more awareness, more centers, more recycle bins in public spaces, and mandatory curbside recycle bins for trash day.

Not because I am a tree-hugger but because of my obsessive-compulsive disorder.
