Child Protectors
How can we get the politicians and lawmakers to listen to us?
I've contacted senator Clinton and Congressman Kuhl and have recieved only a form letter in response. Child protectors have contated all of the major news networks and even America's Most Wanted same response. You would have thought that at least John Walsh would have gotten back to me. Will you all contact your senators and congressmen on their websites to let them know about us and ask for help. Invite them here. HOW CAN WE GET THEM TO LISTEN?

Have you tried going to the media. When someone needs to get a politicians undivided attention they do it through the media. Something lie, " As we try to get the word out about our greoup thats soul prpose is to seek ways to protect children from preditors in our community both in the real world and cyber, we hope that (Congressman/woman, Senator, Mayor, fill in the spot) will join us in this fight. I am hoping to talk to the, fill in the blank, soon to discuss a topic that should be close to his/her heart since they are parents themselves." If that doesn't work you could always ask, " Why does it take someone of influence, Political or monetary, to get anything done. If a rich child is taken or attacked there is a swat team to take the perp down. What about the people that pay for that swat team. Aren't we just as improtant, (Senator, Congressman, whoever). Sounds about right. Some call it grassroots, others call it terrorism by media. Oh well, how else you gonna get your point across. If you ask then they turn away, if you yell then they look. If you put them on the spot then they will act. Thatas how we had to do it for some of the returning troops who lost their jobs because they were disabled. The companies found a loophole in the law and we closed it up tighter than dicks hatband. Hooah, don't mees with the troops or the kids. -

None of them listen unless it's through a large voting block of people. Union, demographics, religious organizations lobbying their congregants, etc.
Only Congressmen and women seem to bother with personal replies.
Maybe phone calls are more effective than letters. They have to talk to you. My own experience. -

Look at Martin Luther King Jr. everyone said that blacks would never be equal to whites everyone doubted him and look at what he did for them! If we all work together and do our parts then we can NO WE WILL pull this off... we have to ! No one should get off with a slap on the wrist after doing something like that to a child!! It's just not right!!! Everyone jus needs to keep their heads up and fight for what we believe is right! Thats what MLK Jr did and it worked. If you fall down are you going to just lay on the ground... No you're gonna get up and keep on going, just try and try again! I guess think of it this way... If every man or woman quit when the going got tough where would WE be today?

I fight for things that are important to me, and this is of the upmost importance to me! I hope you don't mind, but I've sent a couple letters that I wrote up and sent them to about 10 politians and sent a letter to Congress! GLW everything!

It seems they just don't care, politicians and the media have there own agenda and are pretty much controlled by the same people, yes indeed they are bought and paid for. the only thing I have seen work is if you know an attorney who will advocate for you otherwise your pretty much screwed. -

First and foremost someone should come up with a letter to be posted on the site that the members can print it off telling them what we are about, and why we need thier help. Then start small local lawyers, politians, and companies. Don't let down on them we need to keep pushing this matter to them. Take them petitions, and anything that we have online. Help them set up a sodahead if nessacary. Then we have them take it to people that they know that maybe we've already tried. Maybe a letter from someone like a lawyer or someone like that will catch their attention. That is the advice that I give to you... Thats the best I got and if someone will write a letter I would be more than happy to start the process. My family is a family that have almost all been in the military, so we can get that portion too. We know a lot of people. -

Maybe instead of major news networks you should start with your local news. The same with newspapers and such. Start off small and usually thats how things skyrocket. Many newspapers are available online now and one person reads the story and they tell 2 friends and they tell 2 friends and so on!! -

All I can say is to just keep trying. I am a pessimist so I believe eventually the world will become so corrupt that it will be those who are fighting for this group today hiding then. I was reading some of the stuff on a website someone on here posted and the ACLU actually told the man they weren't ready to sue the US Government yet. Obviously they are waiting for the people to become more "sensitive" to pedophiles. He wants to sue the federal government for banning man-boy love and thus causing him chronic depression. Despite being a cynic, it still surprises me that people are just that sick. -

Support the Fair Tax. This takes away the power of the lobbyists who control the politicians. Vote those politicians who do not support the Fair Tax out of office. Supporting the Fair Tax would repair many of the problems with the government at once. Please go online and support the Fair tax @ FairTax.org
