Each singer is perfect for their respective bands. I prefer Freddies voice the most, but only because it is undeniably his, and the others could possibly be mistaken for other singers. Well maybe James Hetfield is a little distinctive as well, but you know what I mean don't you? -

This was posted back in july but i'm going to answer it anyway...I found this page by accident and wanted to sign up so I could ..*grin* ..It was killing me not to answer this .. lol
I think mostly its about someone's taste in music and their age. Freddy Mercury is granted one of the best but he's old school. Brent & James are still cranking out songs obviously and well, bruce.. Its been years that I know of since he's put out anything. (I could be wrong)
but ..what about Rob Halford of Judas Priest?? or Geoff Tate of Queensryche in his earlier years? those guys could sing..
i dont know if i can put this here so i'll just post 1 song from Tate in the media section and not both him and Halford...Halford is a given anyway. :)
So It is Geoff Tate in the 80s when he was at his ultimate. check it out ...then if you still think its any of these guys i'd be suprised.

Freddy has one of the best voices in music in the 20th Century, up there with Frank Sinatra. He has the voice of a Champion with tremendous range.
