Are you excited about having Michelle Obama as First Lady?

It looks like we are going to have a First Lady we can be proud of for a change. A strong woman to compliment a strong man.

Grace and class? Had your glasses changed lately? That's the frumpiest first lady I've ever seen. I saw her on some video yesterday and she looked like she climbed out of a rag bag. She makes Hillary look like she came straight from Paris. Proud of a woman who has never been proud of America until her husband is a presidential candidate and who thinks this a "mean" country? I don't think so.

I really want to say no, but the choice of answer does not fit. Strong women do belong in the White House, (that is why Hillary should win), but Michelle's opinionatedness is a deterrent to Barack winning, (she turns too many people off).

Actually my answer is emphatically "NO"!
NObama at ALL in the white house. We do not need the racist Barry or his nasty, mean and hateful racist wife Michelle in the White House.
They will lose to John McCain anyway.
The only woman that should be in the White House is Hillary Clinton as the 44th President of the United States!
Boooooooo to the Obamas and their ObamaBOTS!!

You are not very sensitive my friend. Before you make such judgments you ought to have a better education. After that your choice might mean something. At his point your hatred attitude will lead nowhere. I feel sorry for you. Mrs. R.

I must amend the comment option... Strong women do have a place in the White House but not anti-Americans!
  • raves +4   [-] svetrock replied to Amanda
Do you REALLY think that Michelle is anti American?
Think twice. You are SO WRONG my friend. I hope that you will see otherwise in November and the years to follow if Barrack is elected.
The woman came from a poor background and was able to struggle to get a good education. If all Americans had this energy and education we would not be in the mess we are in right now. The Obama team understands this better than most and will help everyone to get ahead as much as they can. Michelle is the strongest potential lady we have, give her a chance my friend.
  • raves +1   [-] Terry replied to svetrock

Don't know much about her looks. But it appears that her attitude sucks.
  • raves +3   [-] svetrock replied to 4X4
Your use of fowl language will certainly not help the situation. A little more grace might help my friend. Compassion is the only way to get ahead.

Just plain No. It's not that she's opinionated, it's that she seems to have a chip on her shoulder.
  • raves +4   [-] svetrock replied to Rayburn from Texas
It seems to me the writer has a chip on His or Her shoulder, certainly NOT Michelle who is the brightest woman on the horizon.

Michelle Obama is absolutely despicable! She made racist remarks in her "black man" speech, was appalling in her UNpatriotic remark about not being proud to be an American and now the GOP is said to have footage of her railing against "whitey" in the Trinity church pulpit. Michelle Obama is a disgrace!

Millions of people in Florida and Michigan went to the polls to make their voices heard in the Democratic Presidential primary. They deserve to have their votes count.

The DNC's Rules and Bylaws Committee is meeting on May 31 to make a decision about Florida and Michigan. Send a message to the DNC telling them to count the votes and seat Florida and Michigan's delegates.

    CAST YOUR VOTE

Finally an intelligent reply! I am horrified to see the rest of the people who send messages. They ought to go back to school or go to church more often or go to the shrink to get some help! I feel for them. You make sense, what a relief! Mrs. R.
