God is the most important person to trust. The leaders and founders of this unique Country all believed in and trusted in God. That is who has backed our Country, our Freedoms, and our Success.
Most of those who would want that off are people I personally would not really be offended if they left! Those types typically have had little to offer! People that would be offended by "In God we Trust" are usually kooks, anti-social, evil, or people with sour bad attitudes, who enjoy seeing others suffer emotionally, usually because they have had bad lives themselves. Otherwise how could anyone be offended by such a phrase! -

it does not say which god it does not take away from anyones faith or intrude on anyones faith. If you are Hindu it means Ganeshe or however you spell it if you are bhuddist it means bhudda or if you christian christ or if you are a lucifite it means satan so who cares it is a term it does not say fall before the lord macabre and worship only him. -

The founding fathers were christian, and that's what our country was built on. Just becase more and more people are deciding against God, and making the terrible decision that they want to spend eternity in Hell, does not mean that the word God should be removed from money. That's just ridiculous.
Oh, and I'm not trying to shove my ideals or anything down anyone's throats. I know I can't change your mind, so I won't try. -

Of Course it should not be removed. This country was founded on religious freedom, and "In God We Trust". Political correctedness has really gone overboard in this country, and many other Western Countries! It is such a shame that the 10 commandments and prayer have been banned from public places. People have to rebel, and say a prayer before a Nascar race, or a high school football game, or college ball game! All three of the main religiong in America today, Christians, Jews, and Muslims, believe in the same God, the power of prayer, and parts of the bible, including the 10 commandments. -

No, we should keep some old traditions that our Forefathers started. I am not offended.....it doesn't say who's God we Trust...lol....Anyway, too many traditions have been spoiled because it offends somebody....get a life. You are too busy worrying about small stuff when the bigger issues pass you by. -

I don't think that our Government should be encouraging anything specific. Since we have this theoretical "Freedom of Religion" in our country, it should say something like "Believe whatever the hell you want to believe, and don't look to your money to guide you on your spiritual path." -

That's a silly question. Seeing the word God on money isn't making me nor anyone else all of a sudden go to church. Since it's not inspiring me, why is it despairing to others?
