Answered Undecided
I think Obama can win the nomination without her, but with them both on the ticket for November, it might bring the Democratics together. I know many people say they will vote for McCain if Hillary does not win the nomination. Maybe those voters will stay with the democrats if they are together on the same ticket. Who knows? -
Answered No, Obama should pick another running mate!
The democratic party won't be able to really heal if we continue to look at them together and her supporters are constantly reminded that she LOST the nomination. Plus, she is not qualified enough to be the president OR the VP, as far as I'm concerned. If you can't run a campaign, you shouldn't be running this country. Just my opinion. -
Answered No, Obama should pick another running mate!
When Senator Obama is the Democratic nominee, he needs to find a compatible running mate. Someone like Evan Bayh from Indiana, who supports Hillary Clinton. In this way, Barack Obama can benefit from the Clinton mindset, without placing Hillary Clinton in a subservient position. I strongly doubt that she wants to be a vice-president anyhow. And can you imagine Bill Clinton as the husband of the vice-president. I don't see this as a workable situation. She really ought to find creative ways to solidify her run for the Presidency in 2016. -
Answered No, Obama should pick another running mate!
She doesn't need to be his running mate, but she does need to give him her full support. I don't think we can win as a divided party. I think she would be more powerful as Senate Majority Leader, instead of VP. -
They don't talk about it much, but I believe she is still undergoing intermittent chemo. She has taken a position with the Center for American Progress, that's a hopeful sign, but I don't think she is well enough to endure the stresses of a full-scale campaign.
