    I actually had the offer once. She had a world cruising yacht and asked me if I would marry her and sail around the world.
    I wanted to love that woman in the worst way, but I just didn't......so I couldn't.

    There is a big difference between intelligence and education. Is every kid in your school equally as smart as one another because they all take the same number of classes, or are there some kids that are just a bit (let's face it) dumber than others?

    Sadly people do not get more intelligent from going to school. A person's IQ score often remains very steady throughout life.

    I would argue that school teaches you a very strict way in which to think which turns out to be a serious problem later in life! Thinking like 95% of the people just makes you equally as prone to the same problems that 95% of the people in the world face!

    No, you haven't been wasting your time because you've learned how to read and write (otherwise we wouldn't be having this conversation) and probably quite a few more things if you think about it! Just because you don't get smarter doesn't mean it's not good to be educated.

    Just don't be afraid to question what you're taught. Teachers are human and don't know everything, and often don't know much of anything about how life in the real world works!
