The Lakers lost when Kobe missed part of the game. They can't win without him, particularly at Utah.

They can't really win with him, either. But David Stern's Point Shaving refs could hand it to them, again.

A TEAM is more then ONE player!

Exactly! Allen Iverson proved that when he broke his wrist in a game against the Celtics. The 76er's did just as well without him.

    Yup :)

What if it comes down to the Celtics and Lakers? Here we go again. At least this one should be more fun. I remember watching the Boston Celtics vs. the Minneapolis Lakers at Boston Garden when I was a kid.

So who would start if Kobe were out??? Vujacic? Give me a break. Who else is going to score 30+ a game to keep the team even remotely close??? Pau? Then who will score Pau's 20? Walton? Not likely.

Answered No; Kobe is the backbone of the Lakers (no pun intended). Los Angeles cannot win without him.

If Kobe could not play at all this series would be a blowout. If you don't think so, just watch every time he goes to the bench, Jazz go on a 10 to 2 run.
    Go Jazz!!!

    Jazz have 5 Players
Big Dwill, Boozer, Millsap, Kirilenko, Okur. 3 have been All-Stars and Dwill should be.
    The BIG 5

    Lakers have 1 Player
    Kobe Bryant
    The BIG 1
NO Kobe = THE BIG FAT ZERO!!!
