algebra, geometry, trigonometry...physics problems. I always liked that stuff. Theoretical engineering calculus just kicked my ass though. I need real stuff to relate my math to. Example: in college I was able to use the calculus I was failing to make a B in Physics....Go figure! -

for me math was always hard, but I discovered that if I write down every little bitty step, I can do it. I got through two classes of calculus and calculus based physics that way. Drove the professors a bit nuts though.
"You don't have to write all these steps down"
"Yes. I do."
So if you have problems with math, forget trying to do any part of it in your head. Write every little bitty step down. Even if it doesn't help you understand it better, it will drive your teacher nuts

Esp. Geometry, because there's no rly good explanation (at least in my mind & proofs don't help) I can do Algebra just fine, cuz there's less formulas, but still. Math is my worst. I think that you either have a math brain, or an english brain. I have an english brain. (I like it lol) -
