University of Miami student Whitney Thompson was just named American's Next Top Model. The blonde bombshell is the first plus sized model to win the competition. So, do you think she deserved to win?

Answered Here's what I think...
I can't say that she deserved to win, because I didn't see any of the other contestants. I will say, however that she doesn't look "plus size" to me - she just doesn't look anorexic.

I don't watch this show, so I haven't much in the way of real comment. I just don't think, having looked at pictures of her, that she's genuinely plus-sized. She's just not the usual skeleton -- she's an actual woman, with curves where a woman should have curves.

Absolutely! She worked hard for it and I don;t thinks he was nearly as 'Miss America" as they said she was. It was hard for me to pick her or Anya, but I am glad she won and I thinks he will be a role model for millions.

plus size my butt. lets see her go to a store and buy plus size clothes. get for real world just being tall and maybe 120lbs doesnt make her plus size. but I am glad it was someone weighing more then 100 soaking wet.

Answered Here's what I think...
"Plus" sized women are beautiful, not everyone is attracted to skinny women (no offense to those that are skinny). I think as long as the plus sized women keep their hygiene and everything else, excellent, it shouldn't be a problem.

I personally do not like the skinny anorexic models that are up there now. I find them in no way beautiful EXCEPT maybe in the face but there can be no talk about them having a sexy body since most of them have nothing there to really look at.

I was personally rooting for Anya, because her look was so unique. But I also really liked Whitney, so I didn't mind when she won. Shes not really plus sized in my opinion. Shes gorgeous.

Itwas the first time I ever saw the show. My wife watches it. I saw her and I really thought she was very pretty and more of a natural looking person at the same time.

actually in the model world she is but in real life she isn't. model world she is between a 6 and 8. but for the real world you have to be a 14 or above to be plus sized

well yeah I know, I'm just saying, I can't believe it has gotten so bad that a 6 is now considered a plus size in the modeling world. A few months ago I had the opportunity to get into modeling, it didn't work out due to school, but I can't imagine myself being a plus size model...
