Death Cab For Cutie or The Postal Service?
For those of you who don't know, the singer from the Postal Service created the band Death Cab For Cutie. I'm wondering if people like the original or the upgrade better. Tell me why as well!

I'd have to agree, I just like how laid back the Postal Service is, its good music to listen to when you're studying late at night.

My initial reaction was The Postal Service! Then I remembered the beauty that is Plans, and that thought slipped away...

I was kind of late on the DCFC train, but I loved Transatlanticism. I did enjoy Postal Service when they came out, but then their songs were everywhere and that kind of ruined for me a bit.

...although I love "Such Great Heights", my favorite versions aren't even performed by TPS!

I like Postal service a bit more, but I generally don't like that type of music...
Metal and country is it for me. :)

wow that's a cool mix! I love most country and I dable in Metal, but it must be cool to like both a lot!

Well, I view country as an all around, you know we all love it wether we aknowledge it or not.... thing.

And then metal is my non-country music choice... that one we don't all love. :)

Country is the foundation for all music listeners.

My friends hate the mix... They want me to pick one! Lol. As if I could.

Country as the foundation of all music listeners? That's an interesting claim, how do you mean?

Country is so versatile... whether or not people know, They like it. They may like Johnny Cash, or they may like Carrie Underwood... But they do like country. It may just be one or two songs... but they like it. Country really has all types of music... You can find jazz in it, rock, sometimes metal (Even rap... Though I am a firm believer in the Country + Rap = Crap philosophy.). You just have to find the right song. But that is true for any type of music. But, eh, I guess I mean foundation due to the versatality.

Only because I knew of them before PS but I do like some tunes from Postal Service. But I love DCFC just because their a little more soulful.

Yeah I can see that. I'm kinda a fan of the postal service though because they are so electronic, I like listening to nuances, But DCFC is much better for more situations hehe.

Thats very true. I'm starting to listen to Postal Service more now so I know what you mean.
