Sadly I haven't seen much of adam west as batman other than the movie once a LONG time ago. I think Michael Keaton was a great bruce wayne and a good batman. Val Kilmer I thought was a horrible bruce wayne but a great batman. George Clooney looks like the ideal bruce wayne but the absolute worst batman (it might be because I cry everytime I think of the Batman and Robin movie bc it was so horrible) and I haven't given too much thought about Christian Bale because he's only just begun to be batman so maybe in the future I'll redue my opinion of this question...

Although all of these actors did a great job of playing the greatest superhero i would have to vote on the newest batman Christian Bale who brought a new kind of Batman to the Big screan.

Besides being the best actor of the bunch, Christian Bale brought grit and darkness to the role that his predecessors lacked. Rather than make another campy "comic-book" batman, Nolan chose to make a kickass movie.

Bale will win because we can really see the nit and grit of his character. It's like there was real dirt under his fingernails. Adam West was like watching a comic book, and Keaton, Kilmer and Clooney were like watching a circus (no small thanks to Tim Burton).

Christian Bale is doing a superb job of providing a realism to a character we all want to know more about.

you cant beat the voice... it's get's deeper when he get's into the batman suit. "Where is he?!!!!" ... if i was the criminal, i would have told him what ever he wanted too.
