Alexandra Michael got out before it was too late.. read her story below.. but ever since the "fashion icon" Twiggy made thin in.. it seems that form of beauty has been a fashion designers preference for runways models.. Has the fashion industry lost it's mind by demanding unrealistic images on it's models.. or is it just fine the way it is..

I like having 38DD's and my husband likes 'em too. Ever notice how super models are never married? It's because they look disgusting. Anybody that skinny aint gonna have a nice rack. I've gotta say I'm a boobs and ass kinda gal. These girls need to learn that skinny doesn't = beautiful. I'd be afraid to break them just by looking their way. -

I agree with Xzoya. These days if your not a stick your not good enough, I think thats RUBBISH. Girls should be proud of their curves, Marilyn Monroe was curvy and most women look beautiful with a natural curvy shape...
The Modeling industry needs to re-evaluate their definition of beauty before more young girls die from trying to be horribly skinny. -

Yes and no you have to be careful of who you blame for this becasue not all designers do this and a lot actually really care for the models well beings. However they are a few designer that have been known for the models being scarly under weight and have been investigated against, but the industry is trying to change this and the laws to protect the models. But is also the models job to protect themselves also. -
I understand you too but then the parents are at fault there to for letting there kids be brain washed,a child is easily led in coropated and it's up to the parents job to be aware of there child and there health, pesonally i dont think children should model until there old enough to decide for themselves, some times I see it as forced decision.

I went to a wedding over a year ago, in New York. The groom, was a producer for shows like Grey's Anatomy, and lots of the "pretty" hollywood stars were there, as well as models. I could not believe, how revolting, they were in person. Honestly..they looked like oranges on toothpicks. The camera DOES add pounds. So, if they look that skinny, in the photos and on TV, you can imagine in person.
They did not eat. All day. All they did was drink hard liquor, and smoke cigarettes.

It is a very big part of the problem. I watched an interview, with Cindy Crawford, last year. In 1990, she was one of the top runway models. She said, that for today's standards, she would be at least 25 pounds, too fat, for modelling. She did not have an ounce of fat on her!!!! the ideal now, is a very large head, on a itty bitty skeleton frame. The designers, want a "hanger", to display the clothing.I blame the designers, foremost, as they choose their models.
