A popular and recurring conspiracy theory claim that the remains of the Roswell UFO aliens are being held in a vault at Fort Knox. Do you believe this to be true?
In the summer of 1947 reports of an UFO supposedly crashed northwest of Roswell, New Mexico. The United States military maintains that the recovered materials was a top-secret research balloon that had crashed. However, many UFO proponents believe the wreckage was of a crashed alien craft and that the military covered up the craft's recovery.

Subject: July 8, 1947
You might recall that on July 8, 1947, almost exactly 60 Years ago,
witnesses claim that an unidentified flying object (UFO) with five aliens
aboard crashed onto a sheep and cattle ranch just outside Roswell , New
Mexico. This is a well-known incident that many say has long been covered
up by the U.S. Air Force and other Federal Agencies and organizations.
However, what you may NOT know is that in the month of March 1948, nine
months after that historic day, the following people were born:
Albert A. Gore, Jr.
Hillary Rodham Clinton
John F. Kerry
William J. Clinton
Howard Dean
Nancy Pelosi
Dianne Feinstein
Charles E. Schumer
Barbara Boxer
See what happens when aliens breed with sheep?
I certainly hope this bit of information clears up a lot of things for you.

I believe they are being held elsewhere. Most researchers I have spoken with believe they were and may still be being studied at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. Never heard Fort Knox before, wonder what would have higher security, the bodies and parts or the gold. -

This has been declassified and completely debunked. It actually WAS a top secret research balloon. The military told the press they were weather balloons in an effort not to tip off the Russians. The balloons were equiped with special microphones that when lifted into the stratosphere could detect the sound of nuclear weapons being tested on the other side of the planet. People who still believe this was a UFO that crashed in the dessert are just in denial and its pretty sad. To many episodes of the X-Files fried there ability to reason. -
High tech mics that listen to nukes in Russia?I study acoustics and electronics and you'll have to help me with that one.Atmospheric bounce(how radio DX works)doesn't apply to ordinary sound waves, which due to wavelength and frequency don't work quite like radio waves. We use seismic disturbances to detect nukes being tested. This is how we found out about Kim Jong Il's scud launches a year or so back. Not specially equipped balloons. The KGB studied UFO activity also.

A famous TV and radio star from back when named Arthur Godfrey said that he had seen the alien detritus at Roswell. He was not given to hyperbole. some years after his statement I had dinner with him and I FORGOT to ask him about it. Arrrrgh! -

Why would anyone of advanced technology (if they even exist) come near our planet, that by no means seems to be as advanced as the rumored "alien" life. And of all places on the earth, why would they be flying over New Mexico.... there thousands more interesting places to visit.
