Answered What happens, happens. I'll take it as it comes.

If you can't control it, you have to accept it. With no debts, a little under the mattress and so long as SS doesn't collapse, we'll be OK, just have to cut back to bare bones if things get bad. We always live simply, but the computer, DTV, XM, cell and things like that would have to go. We wouldn't like it, but we'd adjust so long as the entire country doesn't collapse.

Answered I'm worried. Job security affects everyone.

The economy and jobs are like ecology and life. The more the better. A jungle is teeming with all kinds of life, but when you start slashing and burning you are left with a desert. Just like happened in Brazil.

It doesn't. We have been smart enough to not spend ourselves broke. The ones who are really going feel it are the poor, and the middle class. Upper echelons won't feel a thing, other than only 10k a month for clothes and hairdressers, instead of 20k.

$10 thousand a month for clothes and hairdressers? Whoa! Must be nice. Why do you even mess with us commoners?

Who said I had that kinda money. Think Paris "Waste of Skin" Hilton.

Oh, I thought you meant you had to cut down to 10K a month...

Don't I wish! :D Ah fooey, I wouldn't spend that much on frippery.

I checked, and all I said is "We have been smart enough to not spend ourselves broke".
