4.28 but in the next town 8 miles away 4.13 went to the coast and it was 4.03 so sad how each gas station can jack up the price.

I really don't go anywhere but to work and back home. Whenever I have to go anywhere else, I kind of dread it. Right now, I'm only filling up about once a week - but even that is $45

I can only use the preminum in my car and it is now 3.99 a gallon. Thank God I don't live that far from my job and my daughter is out of school now. I stopped to fill up this morning. I had 1/4 of a tank of gas and it cost me $67 to fill up. I'm seriously considering buying a bike, just afraid I'll end up in the ER instead of work....

Not a huge effect. I drive a little non-gas-guzzler and always have done mininum needed driving, except for vacation....then anything goes for one week....and GULP!

Well let me say this...I have a economical van...travel a three or four state area working...a recent trip to Northern VA and back cost me $230. One year ago it cost $132.00. I have raised my rates as high as I can...and I have put all my clients on notice that when gas hits $4.50 to $5.00 per gal...I will be parking vehicle and they will have to find someone else...and today that is going to be near impossible to find anyone willing to do my type of work.

I do a lot of driving to and from meetings for work, in which I only get .38 cent to the gallon reimbursed. So if I can send a report without attending I do that or try to have the meetings at my agency. I try to shop on my way home from work so I don't go out of my way. I use to run to the store multiple times a week. Now we just do without, until it's time to shop. Gas here is as high as 4.09-4.12 a gallon. Thats why I'm home this holiday weekend. We're cooking out later today on the grill.

I"m fortunate I work from home. My husband drives 10 miles round trip if that....we used to drive 165 miles roundtrip per day between the 2 of us...thank heavens we don't do that anymore....I'd say gassing up his truck he uses about $20-30 per week just for work.

Absolutey! It costs me $50 a week to drive my car just to work, that's about $20 more than last year, so it's like I just got over a $1000 a year pay cut.

Luckily, for my family, its not affecting us much. I live 2 minutes away from work and my husband has a company vehicle so we don't pay alot out for gas. Maybe $30.00 a week.
But I know people who are sinking $75-$100 into their cars every week and its really starting to take a financial toll on them.
