It's possible, but I wouldn't undertake it simply to test the theory.

    Yes, it is possible. It isn't easy, but even without a good support system many teens make great moms. Some teens make lousy moms, but so do some adults. Becoming a teen mom should not be promoted, but sometimes it isn't the tragedy it could easily be.

    i think they if you really were ready or if you wanted you could be a good mom but its allways better to wait.

    Maturity, unselfish and family support are the keys. A mature teenager can be an excellent Mother if she loves her baby more than she loves herself. support keys mature teen ager excellent mother loves baby loves

    It is possible, but not the ideal situation.

    On the other hand, I know plenty of grown adults who waited until they were older and still made lousy parents.

    Age is not the whole story -- but again, teenage parenthood is not the ideal situation.

    I think teenagers can be good parents. I think it is harder to be a good parent when you're a teenager.. mostly because you're trying to figure out who you are... but I definitely would not say it's impossible.

    Although it is harder for a teenager to be a good parent, it is not impossible. You are either a maternal person or you're not, and your age is not going to change that. Good teenage fathers are even rarer because not many of them seem to stick around.

    It of course depends on their personal situation and how close they are with their own imidiete family. If they have friends, family and loved ones supporting them I believe they could be great parents.

    possible, yes... likely? no. u have to keep in mind most females giving birth in their teens are single parents. we need to get out of the mindset that fathers are not needed in american society. a father is more than a child support check provider. dont sleep with a guy who just was in it for the easy puss. i might get alot of flack for this but its the truth. alot of females are havin babies by men who let them know in advance that they wanted no part of it.

    It's easy to tell the difference between these guys too. I can't say I really understand what goes through people's minds sometimes.

    Its impossible for a kid to raise a kid the way it should be UNLESS the teenage mom was raised right[ if she was ,she wouldnt gotten pregnant that young in the 1st place]

    Any teenager is not possible to a good mom. They cann't even afford to help themsselives than theirs infants babies, becaue they are also babies. Those who commit crime to rape teenages, must be punish. Be a parent is not simple. It requires a lot duties and carying for not only babies, but family duties and responsibilities. I strongly disagree with question.

    OF COURSE IT'S POSSIBLE, IF SHE WAS RAISED RIGHT AND HAS POSITIVE ROLE MODELS IN HER LIFE. SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST BORN WITH THE INSTINCT TO BE GOOD PARENTS. AND AS MANY WOMEN OUT THERE HAVING BABIES AT A LATER AGE AS THERE IS TODAY, DOESN'T MAKE THEM A GOOD PARENT IF THEY ARE NOT EQUIPPED TO HANDLE IT, JUST A LIKE A TEENAGE PARENT.

    it is. however, as has already been said, "not recommended" and it can demand great sacrifices that are unnecessary, not just by the teen mom, but by her family as well.

    But it wouldn't be easy. They would either have to put their lives on hold for 18 years, or stop completly. No college. None of that.

    yes and no because some moms of teens won't want them so they won't have experience but if the mom of the teen helps take care of the child then she would be a good mom
