Pick McCain's VP?

http://hotair.com/archives/2008/05/29/are-you-ready-for-vice-...

"Via the Standard, Wizbang’s got a hot tip that the head of McCain’s VP search team is on the ground in Juneau. If it’s true, though, then why not advertise that fact? It’d kick up some buzz … although maybe that’s the problem. If they finally end up going with some more predictable choice, like Ridge or Mitt, it’ll feel like a letdown."

    You mean as a teenager?

Only an extremist like BO can make her look moderate.

HRC is only 'middle of the road' in Cuba.

    Hehehehe, 70's.

That would turn the DNC on their ear, eh? Did you watch the Commitee Meeting this A.M.?

No, ub2 I missed it. I'm up in St. Louis and pretty busy. I have Fox on now, trying to catch up.

    OBAMA QUITS CHURCH...OH MY!!!

    Well, Isn't that Special?!

OBAMA: YOUR CHURCH DILEMMA WILL NEVER GO AWAY!!!

Well, Clinton's Rep Joyner was awesome! Obama's Rep was a smug asshat.

The DNC basically gave it to Obama, and the media touted Obama as being "Very generous". Made me sick.

Simply amazing...I'm so glad I changed to Independent. I would be embarrassed to call myself a Democrat!

I can't find Joyner's speech clip... Strange... You'll want to see it.

Isn't it amazing that he finally quit his church only after this happened? What took so long?
  • raves +3   [-] Bill - McGee/??? - 2012 replied to Carol
    97% Carol... 97%....

    THAT'S why
  • raves +2   [-] ubuntu replied to Carol
The same reason he waited to quit his mentor: Political Manuvering.

Now, if it had anything to do with beliefs, Obama would have quit them both 18 years ago... Obama's just doing what he thinks is wright.

    Dr. Rice is AWESOME!

  • raves +2   [-] Diverbelo replied to K man
I agree. I think Dr Rice would be a great president. Lets see what happens in 8 years. The Bush baggage will be gone by then and I think more people will be able to look at her without just seeing George Bush. Condi 2016!

Ted Kennedy seems most appropriate to me given McCains take on conservatism .

  • raves +1   [-] Bill - McGee/??? - 2012 replied to Bitwise Operator
if you mean because McCain's NOT a conservative in the true sense of the word i'm with you, but if not, them i have to admit you have me stumped
  • raves +1   [-] Bitwise Operator replied to Bill - McGee/??? - 2012
Looks like you you heard me right. McCain is so far from being true conservative it is pathetic. Why doesn't he pick Obama or Clinton as his running matey and not let us have a choice between extremist left and right?

Oh wait, we really don't have a good choice this election... Unless we think (and vote) outside the box we never will again.
  • raves +1   [-] Bill - McGee/??? - 2012 replied to Bitwise Operator
thought that's what you meant.. He's not, he's way left of where conservatives want him to be, but right now, he's the best choice for the country.. I am looking to see who he picks as VP and i am looking to see the maverick back once he's won the election..

sadly a vote outside the box this time might/will spell disaster for this country...
  • raves     [-] Bitwise Operator replied to Bill - McGee/??? - 2012
"sadly a vote outside the box this time might/will spell disaster for this country..."

We say that every every election and the candidates get worse every election. Our beloved country and our rights are increasingly sold out to special interest, foreign powers, and our government is increasingly intrusive - not to mention broke.

Nothing will ever be gained by electing candidates like McCain. Sure, you might slow the damage but the Republican party will have learned nothing. In fact, it will cement into place that as long as Democrats run sellout's like Obama and Clinton that they can do the same - nothing will ever change unless we take a stand - now.
  • raves     [-] Bill - McGee/??? - 2012 replied to Bitwise Operator
what stand can we take?, we are going to be offered two "viable" candidates that are able to be elected.. there's neither the time, or the money to get the word out as it should be, we are left with but one choice, go for the least amount of damage, then take the next 4 years to get the point across to the government...
