Here are some signs (along with many others) to help you determine if your addicted...
10. You wake up at 3 a.m. to go to the bathroom and stop and check your e-mail on the way back to bed.
9. You get a tattoo that reads "This body best viewed with Netscape Navigator 1.1 or higher."
8. You name your children Eudora, Mozilla and Dotcom.
7. You turn off your modem and get this awful empty feeling, like you just pulled the plug on a loved one.
6. You spend half of the plane trip with your laptop on your lap...and your child in the overhead compartment.
5. You decide to stay in college for an additional year or two, just for the free Internet access.
4. You laugh at people with 2400-baud modems.
3. You start using smileys in your snail mail.
2. The last mate you picked up was a JPEG.
1. Your hard drive crashes. You haven't logged in for two hours. You start to twitch. You pick up the phone and manually dial your ISP's access number. You try to hum to communicate with the modem.

OK - I do laugh at people with 2400-baud modems (it's just sad), when/if my harddrive or modem were to crash I would go nuts as all my work is on there - I dunno about humming to my modem however, perhaps yelling various strings of profanity though. I have thought about putting other people's children in the overhead compartment on a plane, but for entirely different reasons!!! -

even though that stuff dont happen to me LOL. i have to say i am addicted to my puter. me and my sister talk on it alot even though we live a few miles from each other LOL. the puter is just full of knowledge for me to find. ive made tons of friends too. but YEPPERS im ADDICTED!! lol -

I should have voted no. I am very well balanced I guess. Everthing in moderation.
I mean I am sure you are all normal people. I meant no put down or anything like I am better or more normal. I am sure it is just because I am old.
I don't mean it like you are all young and unworldly or have obessive qualities. OK?
In case you don't get it. I am joking. But no I am not addicted. I like to read sometimes. Gardening too. -

I can't walk past the little home office I have without logging on and checking e-mail, as suggested above. When I downloaded a virus and had to have the computer in the shop, I was at a loss for a week. When I got the computer back, I was on it for 3 straight hours.

yes Eric and i am ashamed LOL sometimes it gets in the way of my everyday life. I find when Im working i click on Sodahead or Else where and forget that this time is for work not pleasure
