IF YOU SPOTTED A NEIGHBOR GROWING "POT" IN THEIR BACK YARD , WHAT WOULD YOU DO ?

THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED TO ME A FEW YEARS AGO --I WAS UP ON A LADDER TRIMMING A TREE AND I NOTICED SEVERAL POT PLANTS GROWING IN THE BACK YARD , WHAT DID I DO ? READ MY POST !!!!

Not my house, not my yard, not my business. Even if I were on friendly terms with them, I wouldn't express any opinion. What am I going to do, state the obvious? "Hey man, I noticed you've got weed growing in your back yard. Did you know that's illegal"? That being said, I'd probably not go over there, and I'd keep my distance (which they probably prefer anyway).

Depends if I like the neighbor or not.
If they're rude and dumb I just might report them.
But if they're nice people then I'll let them be.

It seems kind of strange that your sense of right and wrong changes with your opinion of the people involved in the crime. What if two people in the neighborhood were growing it, and you liked one, but not the other? Would you report the one you didn't like?

I probably wouldn't report the neighbor unless they were posing harm to our neighborhood, or really posing harm at all.

I wouldn't worry about it. I know some people who are allowed and do grow it legally, it's not a big deal to me.

I don't do it and can't because of random drug tests but i beleive that it should be legal and severe penalties for crimes committed while under the influence of any drug but tollerence for the behavior of others as long as it doesn't effect others.

that happened at my grandma's house once...i was sitting out by her pool and some punk guys about 25 came out with a pot plant and set it out in their yard and my cousin and i told my grandma she called the cops...it was a good thing because they played crap music really loud and it was disturbing while i was trying to relax by the pool...lol..

You are obviously very cavalier about your civic responsibility to assist the police in preventing a serious felony from continuing in your neighborhood. What would happen if all neighbors everywhere took this attitude? A lot more people would be walking around stoned.
