I have to think of something like car pool,drive only it need to, we have to do something about this. look at England who use 6 truckers to block gas station try to get all of them to together and to fight about the gas price. we have to do that to get all together and fight for it. -

The beauty of America is that we are free to make choices on our own to overcome whatever issues plague us. I plan to cut back as much as possible. Make one trip to the grocery store per week instead of two or three. Car pool when possible. Find things to do for fun closer to home. We still pay quite a bit less for our fuel than many countries around the world. And while I'm still not happy about a 200% increase in the cost of a gallon of gas, I also recognize that there are a lot of places that have it much worse than we do. -

It will bother me a little but in 2000 I bought a Toyota Echo that gets 41 mpg on the highway and 36 in town. People should have given up the big SUV's years ago. Think how little gas I have used in 8 years by comparison. -

If the citizens made the congress use our oil as they should, we wouldn't be paying these prices, DRILL, DRILL, DRILL. at home and demand drilling ,watch those price's go down, force this issue, I'm trying to voice my opinion, we the people need to take that power we gave to to much to this government by not keeping tabs on what these criminals became a big business look at this sorry broken government we have such an embarresment to the U.S.A. , this is really going to hurt us as the years creap by and it's going to with these loosers in, as they become more corrupt, by voting for real leadership the 2 we have to vote for is not worth a shit...I'll be voting for the one who will do less damage and both are BAD for this country, when we should be voting for the one that's going to do more for our country, this is not the case in this election,loosers, loosers,loosers...and well be fighting one of the 2 incomptent LOOSERS that get in the office we have NO leaders only LOOSERS...were in deep trouble ,we are the government we tell these loosers what we the people want they work for US not, we work for them,but it has gone this way as we were way to comfortable with our cozy life and while we trusted the government look at the shit were in....American's we need to UNITE to protect what's left of our sovereignty or when it's gone it's gone. -

I DO NOT DRIVE BUT THE REASON I THINK PRICES ARE GOING UP IS BECAUSE DID YOU KNOW (PRETTY SURE) people USE ABOUT FIFTY THOUSAND TONS EVERY DAY AND SO OIL IS GETTING RARER AND RARER SO IF MORE PEOPLE RECYCLED AND WENT GREEN AND STUFF I BET IT WOULD GO DOWN A LITTLE ATLEAST -

I just chose this as the best answer, but I don't really HAVE to use my vehicle. Being a capitalist, I don't believe there is a such thing as a "waste" of money if you willingly choose to spend your money on it. $6 is ridiculous, but obviously I would feel it is still worth it to be able to drive my car. -

I'm switching to a SMALL motorcycle for work and just using the car for family travel, shopping, etc..
But let me add that this increased gas cost is just going to where it always should have been. I'm not happy about it but there is no reason for income, houses, and other things to rise over the last 30 years and gas not also. -

Pay it when needed.. But one thing is for sure.. No driving to places within a few miles.. Gotta save a few bucks somehow. Can't imagine what I'll do when it gets to $10 eventually though.. -
