I use Vista. It's not as bad as people make it out to be. It's kinda of like an over-protective parent. They just have a lot of security that can be hard to get around, and if you had files saved to your drive before you switch over it can be difficult to be able to access them.
But I've figured out how to get around that stuff and it's great.
And if there's a risk of something that could give the computer a virus or something like that, it shuts down without warning so most people don't like that. -

I'm partial to Macs, myself. I work on a PC, and we have a PC at home, but I got my start in computers using Macs. I understand them better. They make more sense to me than PCs do. And as for the operating systems... the Mac's system looks to me more like a real operating system than the PC's Windows. In a way, it feels like Windows is basically a shell built on top of MS-DOS. I'd like to see them try to break away from the DOS environment, but it seems Windows and DOS are too entwined for that to happen.
That's why I choose Mac. Sure, it's easy to make mistakes on a Mac, but those mistakes are also easy to fix. I should know, I worked as a Mac IT tech for 9 years. =) -

I had a Compag laptop (I call him Compy :D ) before the desktop Mac I have now, and while windows has more downloadable programs than Mac, I like Mac better. It's easier to use once u get used to it and has amazing picture quality. Not to mention it's cool looking . hehe >:)

Macs are safer from viruses & easier to use, in my opinion....more "people friendly".
