Do you agree that producing oil shale in Colorado would be better than importing from the middle east?

    Why is it we always act on these things after the fact? We have known for many years that eventually we would need to do this. Instead of our gov. supporting every other counrty but our own, they should have been on top of this a long time ago!!

    oh...like 1973 perhaps when gas went from .25 cents to a buck a gallon in a matter of a few months there is no energy policy in a country which consumes 25 percent of the worlds oil and thats truly sad for all of us

    We need to begin using more of our own resources and stop buying foreign oil. Or, better yet -- If a barrel of oil is $100, and the American people can't do without it, then maybe we should charge $100 for bushel of corn -- I'm not sure the Middle East can grow much corn in the sand....
